I am transitioning (11 mos. post) and I don't cowash after every workout...more like 2-3 a week. I don't think that the sweat has had any adverse effect on my hair but I can understand why some people would want to cowash after every workout.

I work out five days a week (two days with a break and then three days with a break). I co-wash my hair at least three of those days. My post-workout style is braid outs since it's summer.

what are your post workout hairstyles? WNG? buns? or something else (please share if so). trying to get some ideas myself. thx.

I wear half wigs, french braids, buns and ponytails. I do not wear my hair down, because my airdried hair down looks a ham-if I wasn't so lazy I would try a braid/twistout- but I see no point when I am just going to sweat it out anyway.

Are you ladies relaxed or natural?

If natural (and 4a or 4b)....are you keep your hair straight on a consistent basis?

Im natural now, but when I was relaxed I cowashed like every 2 days -
9went to the gym abt 4 days per week)

now that Im natural, I rinse my hair maybe 2 times per week. I actually sweat mostly from my face and midsection

I work out 5-6 times a week and I'm transitioning (21 months). I currently have a sew in. Before working out, I apply Hair One and some oil to my leave out. I wear a satin scarf or a headband during my workouts. After, I hop in the shower and rinse it out. I plait my hair and let it air dry. I've noticed that sweat makes my hair soft after a good workout.

Natural checking-in. I don't sweat a whole lot in my scalp so I stick to weekly washing when working out and I rinse only if needed during the week. I don't use shampoo more than once every couple of weeks except during warmer summer months.
