Could you tell me how long you keep your hair braided and how often you wash/DC/co wash

It depends how many braids/cornrows I do b/c the more I do the longer I leave them. Right now I have box braids underneath my half-wig that almost two weeks old. I have been rinsing/co-washing them every two days but I'm going to wash and dc on either friday or saturday. I'm planning on keeping them for four weeks.

ms blue i have those too or mini pixies as i call them

i've only been cowashing once a week, im so lazy

thank you both for answering

I keep tthem in like 30-40 med sized box braids. I co-wash about 4x a week and use ayurvedic powders 2x a week. I DC at least 3x a week too. I redo my braids every 1.5 weeks. I can't go longer or the tips of my ends will start to re-coil.

I dont mind the fuzzies to much, but there are times I'll apply a little more loc an twist gel, then tie a scarf on..voila!

I like to keep them in at least a month. If I have no special events poppin' up, I'll shoot for longer.

At least 1 month..longer if I can. I can rinse or co-wash everyother day with pixie braids.

I have cornrows and I keep mines in 6 to 8 weeks, and when I take them out I get my ends trim. :)

I usually keep my box braids in for 4 weeks sometimes 5, I cowash or wash and DC at least 1ce a week but I will also just water rinse if the feeling takes me. I spritz daily and seal my ends with an oil or butter. Now twists, I don't believe I've kept them for more than 3 weeks and wash less often to avoid unnecessary detangling hassle when it comes to takedown.
