Ladies! What do you use on your hair to make it shiny?

depending on my mood (or my hair style) any one of the following:

Coconut Oil
Vatika Oil
Osis Hair Serum
Kera Care Oil Sheen

For regular healthy shine EVOO/ Coconut oil, for blinging shine Paul Mitchell Foaming Pomade *Disclaimer* it contains mineral oil like the 2nd or 3rd ingredient but absolutely wonderful for shiny hair

I use coconut oil, shea butter (sometimes) and hair grease lastly, with a little heat. I started using hair grease again this year and my hair has improved. I'm sure the regular steaming I do doesn't hurt either.

Alfaparaf Semi-Di-Lino Crystal Shine Serum work great for me,expensive but worth every penny.
This serum is light and does not way the hair down and provides great shine.

I use IC Fantasia PM Night Oil. This is my one pre-LHCF product that I will continue to use. It has mineral oil in it but its light and give my hair swing and slip. It does what it says and a little goes a long way. I've definitely noticed less breakage since using this product.

My natural hair gets aglow from coconut or a little AMLA oil. All else fails there is my tall, green can of ORS Olive Oil spray.

For shine I use virgin coconut oil and/or Proclaim Olive Hair Glosser. I love them both. :yep:

i use victoria's secrete brillant shine mist, its like oil sheen but i think its silicone insted of oil it works great for me since i find oil to be too heavy(or me to be too heavy handed with oil :lachen:) this spray smells wonderful and gives me great shine without my hair looking greasy or feeling heavy

How do you use this? I have a vial but I have no clue what I'm supposed to do with it.

Do you wash it out or is it a leave in?

Jojoba and castor oil give brilliant shine for me. I put it on my hands and pat my hair...not much goes on my hair at all...but it's super shiny.

I'm natural, 4a/b and stay in twists or twist outs, so I am definitely shine challenged, unless I use these oils...:grin:

For the ladies that use coconut oil or vatika oil and live in cold places, do you have issues with the oil becoming soild in your hair when u go outside? Just wondering cause I've heard this happen to people b4

The serum is in a spray bottle, you must have the oil which comes in a vial (blue) color.
The oil is used as a rinse out after conditioning our hair to provide more shine.
If you add it to Silicon Mix you will be in for a delicious treat and your hair will have more shine after using your styling product oil sheen or serum.

u could get a clear semi permanent rinse put on it. I love rinses.

Right now for shine I'm using Design Essentials silk essentials serum and Carols Daughter Tui Jojoba and Shea Butter sheen. Also, in the past I've used Kemi Oyl and Fantansia IC hair polisher. The IC can be a little heavy tho. pink oil moisturizer has a clear gloss spray thats light and gives shine, its in a clear bottle with pink writing on it.

I'm 4b and actually getting my hair to be shiny is fairly easy. Almost any kind of oil will give it shine.

I use Hask Shine serum, comes in a little 8 oz bottle. A bottle lasts me almost a year. I also use WGHO. A pea sized amount rubbed in my hands and smoothed over my hair makes it look really nice.

Thanks Ladies, finally found what gives my hair shine. I didn't realize it at first, but honey made my dull color shine. I have color in my hair. The honey made my hair look like I got a retouch or something....
