Aaaahhh! A fellow Okie! :wave:

I heard about this expo from a friend who I encouraged to go natural around the same time I did!

I really really want to attend the event. Sadly, I no longer live in OKC. We (my hubby, son and I) live 4 hours away. Still in Oklahoma... but barely! I told my friend that I will definitely try to make it up there though. I'd been waiting for something like this to come to OK and of course it would happen after I move out of the City. SMH.

Did you know that there is a natural hair group in OKC as well? I didn't find out about them until a month or two before we moved. Aaaand there is a shop in the Bricktown area that carters toward natural hair/natural products. It opened up a month before we moved out into the boonies. LOL!

I NEVER thought we'd have something like this here. I swear I squeed when I found out about this. :giggle: I just can't believe it!

I used to be so jealous looking at all of the other meet ups and expos, but now one is coming here! Woot-woooot! :yay:

There's a natural group in the city? Whaaa? That's awesome! Do they do meet ups or something? Do you know if they have a website? I'd love to be involved! :grin:

Oh, I just found out about Go Natural 24/7! I didn't know there was a store like it here. I'm pretty sure they're gonna be at the expo... I think that's how I found out about it-- from their site.

I can't wait! :pepper:

Girl, yes. We are waaaaaay out here in southeast Oklahoma. Practically in Arkansas. LOL!

There really is a group! Look them up on facebook. It's called Let's Talk About Hair. I found out about it while I was at the zoo with my family. Lol. I had my fro all out and this lady came up to me and started talking to me about natural hair. Then she told me about the group. I believe they meet up once a month. The location changes. I never got to attened a meeting before we moved. :-(

Go Natural 24/7...yep! That's the name of it. I was so mad when I found out about them. I wanted to raid them before we moved but I never found the time. Lol.

I am really itching to go to this expo. I'm going to have to do what I can to get my butt up there!
 
Hey ladies!! Me and the fam just moved to Lawton Ok a few months ago and Im excited just to know there are other LHCF member in the state cause looking around, I would have never guessed.

Since the expo is a few days b4 my birthday imma try to make dh take me cause OKC is only like an hr away.

That's great! I was hoping someone went and took pics. I'm on my way out to church but maybe when I get home you will have uploaded them :yep:but no rush though.......sorry I don't know how to do that mention thingy :ohwell: as you can see I don't post much at all!:lachen:but I got the smilies down :grin::lol:

But I'm glad it turned out to be fun!
I was pretty bummed about not being
able to go, but I'm hoping that it went
well enough that it won't be the last one
to ever come to OK. That way I can be
sure to go!
