Ladies, I need a hug & prayer

Hey ladies, I need a hug because last Friday I had a bad accident. I cut my thumb with a box cutter (at work) and cut some nerves. I was rushed to the E.R, and really didn't think it was that big of a deal because I thought it would heal... well I was wrong. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and he told me I would probably never be able to use my thumb correctly again, and he said I may not be able to feel it anymore. We did a few tests where he squeezed my thumb and there was no reaction. It was awful. I couldn't believe how severe it was and I was heartbroken. I cried all day yesterday, and was just really upset. On top of that I'm in Phoenix for college and the rest of my family is in Missouri. I didn't go home for Thanksgiving because my mother is flying down here. I'm happy about that, but I'm just so upset, can someone please pray for me.

On the up side of things though, I've been able to say I'm blessed that I did not cut my right hand (the dominant one) or else it would've been a whole nother world of problems.

You're in my prayers too. I'm from Missouri too and that's where most of our family is, parents, aunts, uncles, etc., so I know how you feel. Glad your mom's coming though. Hopefully your thumb will heal better than you think and hopefully Christmas will be a happier holiday for you.
