beautiful hair!
I’m intrigued. I’d be willing to travel to see her.

I wish there was someone in Southern California/Los Angeles like Reniece, or Tamika, (and now Whitney) dedicated to helping clients with healthy long hair.

After my big chop, my hair is thriving really well in my care. It is so thick, and the longer it gets I will want to seek a professional for maintenance. I have had so many bad salon experiences I’m so leary, don’t know who I can trust with my hair.

Oh, your hair is beautiful!!! I am glad you found someone. I am so scare I will never find someone.

I just checked out the IG page. Thanks for providing that. I travel on a regular basis and if I am ever in that area of TX I would love to sit in that chair too.
@lushlady , you are welcome! On this hair journey, we have to have options!!!

@ava2 , thank you!!! I had NO IDEA it was difficult to find someone in Southern California/LA!

Sending you and your beautiful tresses, lots of good will and hope that you will find a professional to assist in the maintenance:fairy:.

@LBJFly, thank you! I truly understand the feeling, but TRUST, an amazing stylist will show-up--when you least expect it.

Wow! And you are officially "Feature of The Month." :weird:

And you showed your straight hair on a white background looking fly! Along with your before texture...just beautiful.

Remember feature of the month Y'all? Where'd it go?!

There is someone in the LA area and Sacremento:

They travel and were just in NYC and are headed to ATL

ETA: @ColibriNoir You may want to check this stylist out. She's in LA.

@miss_a Thanks so much for posting the review.
I've been researching and thinking on this since you first posted.

Last night I booked with Whitney!

I figure I better get in before she ends up closing her books again. Dallas has been a weekend trip for us for years now.

Yes ma'am, congratulations!!!

I can't wait to hear about how your appointment fared!
Did you get a scalp detox or anything? How was it?

I didn’t initially book it, and now I’m thinking on it.

I wish there was like a sister circle of beauticians that could rec someone local to your city that does same or similiar caliber work..
@AnjelLuvs, this is SUCH a great idea. Now you are making me wonder, how many beauticians across the country, even do this type of caliber work. Hmmmm.......

LADIES, I figured a little update wouldn't hurt anyone!

Here is my hair, six weeks after my silk blowout at Her Growing Hands. My blowout truly held up for a good 3 weeks (this is saying a lot in this 100+ Texas heat); and the final 3 weeks of my blowout saw my hair return to its blowout textured stage.

This is my hair after the wash and steam treatment. Second photo is after my detangle by Whitney (25 minutes to detangle, Ladies!?!?!). Next update will be around November!

Have an amazing day, LHCF:yahoo:!
