Lacefronts gone wrong

Lace fronts really can be the worst thing ever, but if people will get past the idea that they have to wear it right on their hairline/forehead then maybe lace fronts wouldn't have such a bad rep. I do where them, but I wear them like its a half wig. I would post a pic but really its all over yt, especially muffinsmylover before she lost all her videos.

One of the worst things to happen to the black community:nono:.
I mean, to me it seems like it would be impossible to have any edges while wearing the things. Any lf wearers care to enlighten me?

Not suppose to wear it on your hairline, it goes right before.

Bey is normally the Queen of LF's. I still think this was photo shopped.:yep:
She's so conscientious of her wigs. the big fan.... controls the sweating to keep the glue holding.+ it look good.
As LF wearer, I can't believe she or her people would let her hit the stage like this........:nono: No!

Na, it only looked like that cause whoever put it on applied too much glue to her face and it dried and they didnt remove it with the 99% alcohol. It only looked that way whenever she made that face because the skin was being pulled by the glue that was on her face.

Most of these look like they glued tracks around their hairlines

3/4 of the pics posted are a form of a quickweave, so basically they are. I have seen too many in my college days LOL

Thank God I'm not at work. This thread should be labelled not safe for viewing at work I'm screaming lol

I sometimes feel like taking undercover pics of the monstrosities I see! The ponytail ones are the worst IMO.

Whhhy!?! Who are you fooling!!?!

A friend of mine wore a really bad one, when I started to say something I just didn't have the heart to finish it was like kicking a puppy

Angelinhell Yeah - so can I. But I can also tell weaves too. I think it's just because we are used to seeing them.

Most guys think that all lace fronts look like some of the monstrosities on the first page. :(

Are they seriously rockin' those things outside in public? Why pull it back though... showing all the fakeness right up front?

I remember waiting for the bus and this chick walked towards me with one one on her head looking like Sho' Nuff from the Last Dragon. I wanted to snap a pic so badly but I didn't want to get beat up.

This is offensive to look at. Like why the hayell would a person do this and think it looks good?

I was  before I even came in here :giggle: LFs are tricky, when they're good quality and applied well, they look really good...when they're not, well, you get the hot mess upthread

But tbh some of these dont even look like LF, it looks like they just glued a track on their forehead :nono:

Exactly...I doubt those r lace fronts.

I wear lacefronts almost every Monday through Friday to work, but don't use the glue as I take the wig off when I get home. I had a co-worker I've worked with for over 10 years mistake my curly lacefront for me getting my hair done. A member of our cleaning staff stopped to admire my last curly MBL lacefront. I was telling her about how I bought it at the BSS near my house and she said, "Bought what!?!?" So I think I'm doing well with mine.

Hot mess....Not sure how these ladies don't realize how awful they look.

By the way, I feel bad that somebody snapped pictures and posted it on a website. The "LF victims" have feelings too

I'll never forget this one time, I walked up to a girl in high school. I looked at her head and thought..."Hmm, her hair must've got glued down underneath the track somehow...I must make her aware before someone else does and not so nicely!"

So I pulled her to the side and whispered,

"I can see your track, just wanted to let you know!"

and gave her the 'We are all sisters and have to look out for one another' wink. Fast forward to today and this thread. Apparently that was the look she was going for :perplexed:perplexed:perplexed:perplexed

The bad lacefronts/quick weaves are only part of the issue in some of those photos. :ohwell:

Last night I saw a woman with horrible lacefront, and she had it pinned up in a loose french roll.

I saw a pretty bad one at the bss the other day. But most the pics in here are not lacefronts. I don't know what would possess a person to glue tracks to their forehead
