You have some excellent progress.
Now, time for sum questions...:)

How much does your hair grow a month?
What do you do? Topical aids, routine-

Oh wow! Thank you, ThinNnappy! :) I never thought there would be a thread about me.

Well… I honestly have no idea how much growth I get every month. I believe I get a little under one inch (per month) during the warmer seasons. I mostly concentrate on retaining length…and boy, I am always checking for split ends! lol

During the winter I wash my hair once a week. I deep condition every wash day for at least 45 minutes and cover my hair with a shower cap. After I rinse it out I always use a leave-in conditioner.

During the warmer months or when I work out consistently, I wash my hair 2-3 times a week. I'll shampoo once and will only wash with conditioner the rest of the week. I'll use a leave-in if I use shampoo.

To dry my hair I normally use a blow dryer and a round brush. Sometimes I'll just put my hair up in a pony tail at night, put a scarf on my head and blow dry it on a low setting when I wake up the next day.

Tropical aides I use: Wild Hair Growth Oil mixed with a small amount of MTG, and several drops of rosemary and peppermint oil (i love the tingling sensation). I'm not gonna lie... it does have a funky smell. However, it is not strong, especially if you apply it to your scalp when hair is wet/damp.

I also like to use Profectiv (Healthy Ends) on my ends. It is very thick and keeps my ends moisturized. OH and because I use heat while I am at college (no more than once a week), Mizani's ThermaStrength is a must. It is the best heat protector I have ever used! I like it much better than biosilk.

I hope that answered your questions.
