Hello ladies , does msm dry your hair out too? Does biotin even really work applied topically? I used shen min the original formula for like a month no visible results. So I want an excellent topical growth aid.

What results were you looking for with msm and biotin? A growth aid normally takes more than a month of usage to see results. Also, it takes a complete regi to get results, i.e. diet, ps, water, vitamins.

During the time I was taking MSM consistently it did not dry my hair out. Made my new growth softer and fluffier, I had no moisture issues because of MSM.

I wanted to know if I added msm and biotin to my hair growth oil if it will actually even do anything at all. People have told me it is best to take internally instead of applying topically for growth.

I used msm for about 6 months while I was transitioning. It made my new growth softer and shinier. No moisture issues at all. I really only stopped taking it out of laziness.

Eta: I took it internally. I'm curious to know if it would work topically.
