kinky twists advice

I just had mine done today with extensions. The stylist told me not to wash my hair whilst they are in. But the hair lady, Robin Woods, has info on how to wash and maintain kinky twists. I love conditoner washes so it will be hard not to wash my hair. Which advice do I follow? and anyone rocking twists what is your regimen?

I would definitely wash my hair while having the kinky twist. I had them a few months ago and I would at least rinse my hair with water every other day; I pooed once a week and I used leave in conditoner 1/wk.

go ahead and wash them....if the curls at the ends fall, just wrap em around some smallish perm rods and dip em in boiled water...thats what i did...and they looked BETTER than when i left the shop!
