kinky twist wearers...

I'll be getting kinky twists extensions installed...

I'm very particular about the type of hair that is used.

I'm looking for hair that kinks, waves, or coils at the ends...kind of like this:

I dont like the look of kinky twist extensions that need to be curled on rods...like this:

What type of hair is usually used for the former style?

approx. how much would human kinky hair cost?

How long does the hairstyle typically last?

What type of regimen should be implemented when wearing this style?

The hair used for kinky twists does not coil on the end on it's own. It has to be set on a rod and dipped in hot water to get a curl. You can do this with any type of synthetic kanekalon braiding hair. I usually buy Marley Braid. But I feel the hair in the store to make sure it's not that rough dry hair. The hair in that first picture looks like the marley braid to me. But it looks like it was dipped. The hair in the 2nd picture looks like Puffy Screw. I don't like the puffy screw hair either. It looks dull.
