Kinky deep wave set

Hello all. I'm wondering what exactly a kinky deep wave set is and how would I be able to achieve it. I saw a few clients on the curve salon before/after pages with this set and I think it's cute. Thanks in advance for any help anybody can give me.

I'm guessing it's just another name for two-strand twists or bantu knots. And that is where you just wash/condition your hair, apply some kind of creme or butter to your damp hair, twist the hair, allow it to dry, then undo the twists or knots and finger style.

uh..maybe you could use a crimping iron to get that deep waved look.

I don't think a crimp iron will work. I'm sorry I don't have any other alternatives.

I guess I should have mentioned that I'm in the process of growing out a relaxer. I'm only going to want to do the kinky deep wave set on my natural hair once the relaxer is all gone.
