I picked this up at Target against my better judgement. Does this stuff have any hold to it? Is it very moisturizing?
I'm afraid to try it for fear of yet another disappointment. My hair despises nearly everything. My hair HATED the KCCC.

Hey hun,

I tried the KCNT about a year or so ago when I was following kimmaytube and this was one of the ingredients that she used. I used the mix for a while but I felt that it wasnt doing the job. Eventually I came across Qhemet Biologics and I haven’t looked back. I think that the KCNT was moisturizing but it didn’t give me excellent results. Try it and see how it works out for you, if it doesnt you can always sell in on the product exchange. Hope this helps.

I pretty much use it as a detangler after washing. Its moisturizing, but you will probably need something to seal it in since it doesn't have oil in it. There is no hold; you would need to get that from a styler of some sort.

IMO it doesnt have hold. I love it for detangling after washing. I also use it in my daily spritz with water and aloe vera juice. Its a staple if mine.

I love it. I use it to detangle my hair and just leave it in my hair. My sister started using it too she likes it too.

I'll say it's a good detangler and very moisturizing, no hold, you would need to add a sealer (oil) as well.

I use it as a detangler/leave in when I run out of shescentit coco creme leave in. I like it. I just like SSI better. It won't give you any hold, and I would do like others and use an oil/butter to seal in the moisture.

I use it as a leave in and I love it. It doesn't have hold or curl defining qualities, but it makes my hair soft. I've used it to detangle before and it gave me lots of slip. However, for me, it's too expensive to use as a detangler because I use a lot of conditioner to detangle.

I could've written this entire post. However I still use the KCNT as a leave in. I also notice a significant decrease in ssk's now since using only KCNT, evco to seal and QB products. That CTDG is AMAZING!!!!!

you sound like ,me i went ahead and bought 2 bottles before trying it and i still havent tried them i wll soon:)

I use it in the kimmaytube leave-in. I really like it in the mixture. I never tried it solo because I bought it specifically to use it in the mixture. I do know that the two times I have tried to use another creamy leave-in in place of the KCKT it was disastrous so something about that product makes the mixture work for me.

What is CTDG??

ad evco

and ssk? LOLOL JK

The only one I don't know is CTDG, what is it?

This is a staple in my regimen. I absolutely love it! I use it to detangle after washing and seal with shea butter before putting on gel. It has excellent slip, but no hold. I would say it's moisturizing especially if you use an oil to seal.

I don't find KCNT moisturizing at all. It doesn't detangle my hair either. All it did for me was give my hair, and whole house a curl activator smell. It does not offer any type of hold.

KCKT never did squat for my hair, and I can't think of any good uses. I've had it for a long time now and I want to use it up so I wanna try the kimmaytube mix eventually.

^^^ that's what I should've done with mine. It did aid in detangling but it was not moisturizing at all IMO.

Yeah, it has a temporary smoothing effect, basically it smooths wet hair but doesn't rinse out conditioner do the same? It's a damn sham lol. I wish I "discovered", bottled and charged 11.99 for it myself lol.
I stopped being a product junkie years ago but I still fall for stuff sometimes.

^^I was .

I just wanted a good smoothing leave in for curly hair. I want to hold out on rollersetting for a while.
I wanted something that would really lock in and save moisture. Instead it still dried me out once my hair dried.

Its one of those products I wanted to work soo bad but just didn't work the way I wanted. I wasn't moisturizing enough - now it was moisturizing just not as moisturizing as I wanted it to be for that price. It worked well with Giovanni direct though.

See, you know you're wrong for looking for a product that's going to provide you with fireworks because that's not gonna happen. :nono: Yeah, it's a leave in, and not all leave in conditioners provide moisture. I like this one because I use it with KCCC, and together they work well on my hair. What worked for you in the past (for your curly hair)?

Step up the deep conditioning because that can provide a lot of moisture (which is how my hair gets a good deal of moisture).

Giovanni Direct Leave In is also a staple of mine (along with KCKT). Of the two, the GDLI is more moisturizing for my hair).

I just LOVE , LOVE, LOVE...THIS PRODUCT !!!!!!!! IT'S GREAT FOR DETANGLING , EVEN THE NEW GROWTH JUST GLIDES THRU THE COMB !!!!!!! .....AND I USE AS A OIL...A COMBO OF CASTER & COCONUT OIL TO TOP IT OFF !!!!

I have tried this product and have not seen it do much with my hair. My mom's hair seems to love it. She has a bottle downstairs I may try it again in the kimmay tube leave-in. If I can't get it to work that way then I will have to admit it doesn't work for my hair.

I think thin leave-ins aren't the best for my hair even though I thought they would be.
