I have the Kareco and the FL and x2 Cheap (Knock-Offs) ones from a Sadd.lery and the work just as well.

I tried the Kareco but took it back to the store. I didn’t like it. I felt it was pulling out my hair.

Wow. That's interesting. I've never lost such LITTLE hair with a brush. I use it very gently on very lubricated, completely unfurled hair and lose so little hair. Much, much less than with The Wet Brush.

I don't allow it to pull my hair, though, so that's one thing. I would definitely return it, too, if I felt it was pulling out my hair.

What do you use instead? Have you moved to finger detangling only?

I think I would have liked it better if it didn’t have the ball tips on the ends.

I use my fingers & wide tooth combs

Got a Den/man - not sure which number but works very well. Didn't hafta' remove any rows either.

I use a Tangler Wrangler, which is the brush Felicia Leatherwood was originally based off from what I understand.

Kareco was the devil. I might as well had got in a fight and let somebody snatch my hair out. My hair was getting wrapped around the little balls on the end. I only fool with Felicia. It glides through my fine 4b strands and stops when there's a tangle. I never have to worry about ripping my hair out and there's nothing for my hair to get caught on with this brush.
