Kini's Update Is Today

I luv Kini!!!
I j'adore her hair! :grin:

I seriously stalk her fotki just looking at the pictures is an inspiration. Plus she is so positive and encouraging and gives great advice.
Too bad her pics arent up yet.:nono:

I do hope evrything is fine with her and her daddy in DC.

I love her hair! I'm too lazy to measure so i usally go by her album to see where i should be. lol...shameful, i know
 
I’m probably more excited than she is, to see her progress!:yahoo: I haven’t been on lhcf in a month ½, but I remembered her posting date.:yep: I logged on just to view her profile and to my surprise there were NO pic’s.:nono: Kini is beautiful on the inside and out.:gorgeous: Great personality-so kind, sweet and inspirational.

I'm pretty sure this means this weekend. She usu. goes to the dom salon on like Friday or something like that. So if they're not up by like Sunday then I am all for Kini getting the :spank: lol!!
 
I dont see why this thread is creepy but to each his own. If I were her i would feel honored that women look up to me and admire my hair progress. But if thats how some feel than nobody needs to post in her anymore and if she decides to post in here well that would be nice if she doesnt oh well. :rolleyes:

I know I've been MIA lately, and I feel really badly about that! Behind in my PM's, Fokti comments, and the list goes on. *smh* :nono:

As most of you probably know (or not?) Im finishing up my doctorate in Clinical Psychology this year.... its been a loooong time coming! 6.5 years to be exact. :wallbash: Anyway, Im preparing to defend my dissertation in 1.5 months (December 12th), and also finishing up my rotations at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn..... so between those two things Ive been EXTREMELY busy!!! I mean, like, overwhelmingly so. :perplexed As a result, ive been neglecting my hair in all ways, and havent had as much time to be on the boards lately. I mean, i try to lurk from time to time just to stay abreast, but its few and far between so i know ive probably missed so much!

I miss you guys TONS and TONS. And honestly, i wasnt even going to post an October update, because 1) I didnt know if i could even take the time to finagle my photographer/girlfriend and 2) I figured i had been gone for so long (from the boards) that no one would really remember the update and 3) I was out of town in DC visiting with my dad (who lives out of the country), and so i just kind of put it on the backburner, figuring no one would notice/care.

Soooo.... it was a very pleasant surprise to hear from Desi last weekend about folks looking forward to my updates!!!! :yep: That was so, so touching and made me feel really special. *smile* I didnt know that i was even still missed here, and it makes me feel sooo good that you all cared and have asked about me!!!! What a beautiful community of ladies.... you all are too much, really. I love you all so much. *hugs* It makes me feel so incredible.

So anyway, just for you guys, i decided to get off my lazy tail and take my pics!!! :) I just trimmed (as i do every 9 months), so my ends do look better than the last set, but not as much growth as i'd anticipated. I still plan to make WL by Dec 31st (per my goal for this year), so ive got another 3 months to gain about, ehh, maybe 1-1.5"...? My fingers are crossed.... so we'll see.

Anyway, thanks again for keeping me in you all's thoughts!!! It means more to me than you'll know. :blush: And oh, just to let you all know, i DONT think its weird/disturbing/etc. that you guys have been waiting for my updates. :lachen:Trust me, Im probably the #1 Stalker on here (or at least in the Top Ten, lmaoo), and i am the exact same way!!!! I love being inspired by other members, and so when i know its time for your updates, you best believe im all over your pages, refreshing the screen like a mad woman!!! :lachen:So you all arent alone in that!!!

Take care ladies!!! *hugs* I defend in December, so i'll definitely be on the board regularly after that.

Your hair looks beautiful as usual! Congrats on your progress thus far. You're soooo close to WL. You'll definitely get there by December :)!

I think she is already there. She has a high waist and her small bulges are not allowing her waist to be defined. (sorry kini:look: you can fix that after you finish what is IMPORTANT).

Any further she will be at her hip. I can tell from her other photos.

Congrats Kini! You had a lot of growth even with the trim. To me your at waist length. I am not aware that waist is at your hip.:look:

Congrats Girlie! I've been there....this is a VERY stressful time, but you will get over that hump. A dissertation is only what stands between you and the rest of your life...you are almost there!
