Kids kill God in upcoming "Golden Compass" movie

I heard about this too. I want to see the movie to veiw what is going on. If this is true my God we need His help!

I watched the trailer for this. I definitely think that people will take their kids to see it. From the trailer it seems there are lot of themes that I wouldn't necessarily want my kids to be privy to (if I had them) - at least not until the kids were older (read teenagers).

Also, are they actually killing "God" or someone who has "claimed" to be God? The article in the link says that God is an imposter, so that makes me wonder if it is a "Wizard of Oz" type of situation.
