Keraphix or GPB

If you had to choose the one that worked best for your hair

Nexxus Keraphix.. but I've never tired GPB. But I'm sure even if I had tried it, my answer would still be Keraphix. I love it especially when it's mixed with Humectress.

you mix kerafix with the humectress? i was wondering if i did that would it cut the effectiveness of one over the other. i have been doing emergencee for a few months and i wanted to switch up to a lighter protein so i got the keraphix. i go to the salon to get my hair done (too lazy to do it myself but i need to start, foxybronx is inspiring me!) and maybe i can tell them to mix the two together.

Keraphix hands down!! I am a 4a/b and the GPB did nothing for me. I had results from Keraphix after just one application.

I have to give it to GPB, hands down. Keraphix is good, but the the new GPB has so much slip, you don't even have to mix it with anything else (a la Keraphix/Humectress).

Oh no, you dont have to mix Keraphix with anything to get major slip.. that's just what I do because I always use Keraphix along with deep conditioning and it saves me time to deep condition with them together.

I know you don't have to. I must, however, always follow Keraphix with a moisturizing conditioner beacuse it doesn't give me enough slip alone. Not the case with the GPB.

ETA: I've noticed that while Keraphix works extremely well with Nexxus products, GPB works well with everything. JMHO

Aubrey Organics GPB all the way! I've been using it since 2001, and I love it. I don't use hard core protein conditioners. Just give me GPB any day.

GPB. I'm a big Nexxus fan, but GPB gives me more slip and my hair feels softer after drying. Keraphix feels like regular ol conditioner after I use it.

I've got to give it to GPB. The slip is awesome. I used it last night and my hair feels soo soft. Keraphix is good too, but one my bottle is done, I won't be buying any more.

i have wondered the same thing, nexxus vs GPB. i gotta say, GPB feels amazing. and when used after elucence shampoo and before the elucence condish i cant even describe how happy and rich your hair feels. i actually almosted posted a thread on that the other day.

Today was the first time I uses AO GPB. I applied before washing my hair and my daughter's hair as well as mine came out very soft. We are both pleased. For those who use this product, do you apply it before or after washing? For those who've tried both ways, which did your hair like better?

My vote definitely goes to KERAPHIX, all the way!! I can't stand the smell of that GPB!!! I force myself to use it oooonce in a while, but on a regular basis?? NO WAY!!! :crazy:

This is such an unfair question. I feel like such a traitor. As much as I love, love, love my Nexxus products, if I could only choose one it would be GPB. But since I don't in real life I'm never w/o either!

Keraphix is great b/c it doesn't need any help, but if you add Humctress to it and some sort of oil and use heat.... you've just had the BEST reconstructing-moisturizing treatment ever and then it exceeds GPB. JMHO. GPB is dope b/c u can do it in the shower, it requires no heat and less time in general and the results are always stunning. My hair remains nicely hydrated and super soft in btwn washes.

There is no conditioner like GPB, IMO! I also like Aubreys new chamomile conditioner(which was re-done like the GPB). It really had a smoothing effect on my hair. I now keep that and the GPB in stock!
Aubrey is the best for natural hair products.
