keracare protein gel

i brought a tub today cuz all my other KC stuff are working on point its a brown gel and says to use on damp hair so im going to try it tomorrw- does any one else use it? i wash my hair like every 4/5 days and as its mega hot (for once ) in the uk im going to use it around the front of my puff to keep my curls under control. any tips before i try it out? - i love experimenting so im bout to have fun testin new braid-out styles!

p.s. im turnin into a KC PJ!!!

Hmmm, I never used it as a natural, but I always used it for my short/cropped/tapered cut to mold the short tapperd parts at the nape and sides. It was very conditioning, and didn't really dry hard, but laid the short hairs well to dry. Very different than the typical brown gels. I was thinking of giving it a shot before I started using the Fantasia IC one.

thanks for the advise! it does seem conditioning- and i love the smell!

Sooo iv just washed my hair in smallish size plaits... (i plaited them last night with my cheap asda con)... then pooed and co'ed with KC.. next i wraped in a towel and now my hair is damp so iv added the KC oil moisturizer and alittle of the protein gel.

iv put the towel back on cus im goin in the bath but when im done im goin to undo the plaits and add alittle more gel if needed and wear MY FIRST wash and go!!!

ill let you know how it turns out!
