Oh my gosh! I tried my Keracare leave-in sample the other night and then Salerm 21 last night and there's no comparison to me. Keracare gives me soo much more shine and moisture. Where are my Keracare fans at?!

I had a KeraCare leave in sample but I didn't use it. The mineral oil and the beeswax would be too much for my hair.
I'm glad you liked it.
Did you hair dry, blow dry, or rollerset?

I did my infamous twistout to mix in with my new growth. I have sooo much new growth and I'm scared too do a disasterous rollerset and I promised myself no heat.

Now, I love Keracare products, but that leave-in gets a
on my hair! It left my hair feeling dry and waxed
. Many of the other Keracare products are quite good. Give me Salerm any day, but I am glad the leave-in is working for you.

Really? I'm sorry to hear that. Hmmmm, now I'm wondering if it really was the Keracare leave-in? Although I used different products for each wash routine, I'm pretty sure Keracare is what left my hair feeling so great. Oh well, to each, her own.
Just wanted to post and say so what. Naw I am just kidding because it is so hard to find those products here and I'm jealous. But I am glad you found something that works for you.
I am a true Keracare fan. I do a basic wash(usually on tuesdays) and a full wash(usually on Fridays. When I do a full wash I use the Keracare Hydrating shampoo, followed by the Humecto Conditioner(30 minutes no heat). Rinse. Then I apply my Keracare leave in conditioner and we cannot forget our ends I seal my ends with the Keracare Silken Seal. Once a month I clarify with the 1st Lather Shampoo. This has proven to work for me. Keracare does have a website that you can order from: keracare.com
I just found a bottle and I've been using it all week. I forgot how nice it is. I don't use it all the time because I have about 6 different leave ins to chose from.
Curious why you don't like mineral oil? I've heard people around here say that it clogs the pores. However, leave-in are for your hair strands, you don't put it on your scalp.
I'm a long time user of Keracare, almost exclusive, until visiting this board.LOL I've tried many of the products people post here, including Salerm, but I always return to Keracare. Salerm tangled my hair something terrible!

Right here. Rollerset and drying with KeraCare leave-in as I type.
Maybe I shouldn't try that Salerm then
.

If you've already bought it, then try it. Don't get me wrong, it's well worth it. I think Salerm 21 is better for straight rollersets, maybe? So that they come out light and bouncy like the Dominicans do. Or buns. Something that requires less definition. Keracare is good for lots of curls and twist-outs.
