Keracare Essential Oils?

Being that this is my first real winter in about 7 years (I just moved away from Florida), my hair is drier than usual. My stylist recommended that I use keracare essential oils. She was going to sell me some but they were all out. Has anyone used this? What's your opinion on it? How much is it? How and when do you use it? TIA

I love using it on my ends, but I think it's much too heavy for regular use on all of the hair. But that could be exactly what your hair needs.

Do a search. Someone posted them awhile ago. Off the top of my head I do remember some of the ingredients: Sunflower seed oil, Peanut Oil, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba oil, Olive oil,...

I really like this product. It's been a great help during the winter months, I love the way it smells, and I like that it has more than one type of natural oil in its ingredients. However, I only use it on my damp hair (concentrating on scalp & new growth after a wash and mixing it with some Vaseline when I do a wet bun or updo). It may be a little heavy for everyday use unless your hair is severely dry.

Funny, Ive used it all over my hair (just a tiny bit) and it is my favorite oil of all time. I tried others because of the pj in me. For me it was light and smelled great. Ive used it for hot oil treatments but my favorite use was to add a drop to Headdress and to seal my ends.

It was a great oil when I was using it, but you only need a little bit. It also works great on wet hair. Unfortunately, I have found that using oils gave me horrible acne. Last year when I was experimenting using different oils, I started to develop acne bumps one after the other along my hairline, jawline and cheek area. Once I stopped and switched back to using some sort of grease (africa's organic herbal tea tree), my face cleared. I only use jojoba oil mixed with distilled water on my ends now, which works fantastically for keeping the ends moisturized.
