Kenra vs Elasta Qp

Hey Ladies,

Did you ladies know that Elasta Qp is owned by Kenra? I went to the store with Kenra and did a comparison. All of the products are the same the ingredients are identical.. The only difference is that Qp has more herbs in it. Matter of fact, I am going to return my items and go to beauty supply and get qp instead. It will save me at least $40.

Elucence ,Kenra and Qp all the same company. Its a shame ther is'nt anything comparable to the Elucence mbc in the Qp line.

I knew they were owned by the same, but I have not been able to find products that work the same in the lines. Which products? I have never seen any Elasta QP products like the Kenra Clarifying or Moisturizing Conditioner.

Me either. The ingredients list may be the same, but the percent composition of those ingredients is where the difference will be felt. Two shampoo products can have:

water, sodium myreth sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, hyrdolized wheat protein . . . etc.

And both feel entirely different because Formula A with 45% water, 15% primary & secondary detergents, and 40% fillers is a very different formula from Formula B that is 60% water , 30%, and 10% fillers. Those ratios are important to consider.

To me, Elucence and Kenra's shampoos are very similar, but Elasta can't touch either one of these lines.

QP's H20 leave-in and Kenra's leave-in are the same product to me: smells the same, feel the same and the product ingredients are nearly identical. Haven't compared shampoos or conditioners though.

I havent tried Kenra but Ive watched these programs on the cost of products and its extremely likely that they are the same or practically the same.

Even if they have slightly different ratios it still cost the companies the same to make the formula $0.50 at most, if the packaging is nicer on the Kenra thats probably what you are paying for

I was doing a search the other day and apparently Elasta QP Breakage control serum and something by Kenra are the same thing.
Although i've stopped using things with cones in and trying to use more natural stuff, i found Elasta QP to be my favourite BSS line.
