Ladies all those who are huge kenra fans, and those who hate the product please post your reviews here!

I'm hoping to receive responses on their moisturizing shampoo, conditioner, and DC

TIA

I've tried the conditioner several times and it did nothing for me. The product was neither moisturizing nor beneficial; I've gotten much better results from using my $.99 Lustrasilk cholesterol.

I love Kenra Deep Conditioning masque. The ingredients are pretty natural and I think its a great DC. I also like the Daily Provision spray leave in for adding lite silk protein and moisture and detangling. It's the only one I use regularly cause it's the only coneless leave in i have at the moment (I heard elasta makes a similar one for cheap though). I've tried the moisturizing shamp and conditioner and they've been okay but nothing that bowled me over, but a friend of mine with coarser hair loves them. I have the Shea Butter Reconstructer, and Botanical Conditioner in my stash but I haven't gotten around to using them yet. I've tried their Hot Spray and i'm not a fan of it, there are better heat protectants that aren't sticky.
And that's all I care to admit i've tried/own for now :lachen: I'm still coming to terms w my PJ status.

The moisturizing shampoo was extremely drying and the conditioner felt like it did nothing for me. (I believe the shampoo has sulfates) I ended up mad I had wasted 30 bucks and ended up buying Joico which I fell in love with

Kenra MC was my staple for many moons. It's uber moisturizing IMO, especially when I used it as a base and threw in honey and oils. I switched to GVP Conditioning Balm because it's cheaper, but it's definitely on the "would purchase again" list.

I love the moisturizing conditioner. I found it to work well and provide much slip. However I find that it doesn't work as well if your hair is extremely dry; you'd need something stronger to put the moisture back into your hair. It's great if you are in maintenance mode though.

ITA with the bolded. I love Kenra MC because of the consistency and the slip it gives with my 4a fine hair. I tried numerous conditioners before I found Kenra; my hair wasn't desert dry, but it was dry. After using the MC with heat, my hair was comepletely reformed. I will never use another condish for my DC's.

What she said. It is good. Don't get me wrong, but depending on what point you are in your hair journey it may not work as well for you. I learned that. I had relaxer damage and heat damage and it made my hair feel soft and slippery when it was in my hair, but the second I rinsed it out my hair was hard as a rock--it just couldn't soften the damaged hair. I've since grown out the damage and it works much better now. I like Kenra for when I'm going to flatiron my hair and I need something clean rinsing. When you rinse kenra there's no oily residue so your hair will have more body.

I noticed some ladies use the condish as a D.C. - for those of you who have tried Nexxus Humectress, how does it compare?

Everything she said...Kenra is an excellent line...I use both the MS and MC as they are in rotation with my other products...
