I tried to like the Kenra, but I really didn't..I really really didn't. I've only used it once, so ladies, how do you use it? What have your results been? How do you think it compares to humectress? TIA. :)

I tried a sample of Kenra moisturizing conditioner and I liked it. I used it as a deep conditioner with heat and my hair felt like butter. I do the same thing with Humectress. But I really like Kenra better than Humectress but at the moment I have the liter size bottle of Humectress so I am really trying to finish it up. Don't get me wrong, Humectress is good but Kenra leave my hair moisturized and strong feeling. I think my hair does better with vegetable-derived proteins.

kenra detangles really well and my hair feels like silk. humectress is also good but doesnt detangle as well. i also have the liter bottle and trying to use it up......

I use my Kenra without heat for 15 minutes. I have never tried Humectress. I tried the Suave knockoff and didn't like it so I didn't even go for the original.

Oh the knockoff is horrible. Humectress is way better than the Suave Humectant by far. Suave should have hung their head in shame.

I don't care for either product. But, if I had to choose, it would be Humectress. Or I would mix them together for the best results.

yes im thinking of mixing too. kenra for the detangling and humectress for the excellent moisture. cant wait to try that out tomorrow

Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner is my main staple and moisturizing conditioner. I tried NEXXUS HUMECTRESS--I was hoping to love it as much as KENRA--but KENRA makes my hair so smoothe and tangle free as soon as it is applied. I love soo many of the NEXXUS products. HUMECTRESS would have replaced KENRA in my hair cabinet--but KENRA wins--hands down. Humectress did not give my hair any type of silky feeling.

I love me some Kenra. In my opinion it just doesn't compare to Humectress. IT is far more moisturizing than humectress. Humectress just doesn't cut it. It's the best conditioner to do a deep condition.

I haven't tried the Nexxus product, but I cannot do without Kenra. I leave it on anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour without heat. It makes my natural hair feel so soft...I love that stuff to death for real!

I know how you feel. I have tried to like products everyone seemed to rave about on here. If it just isn't meant to work for you it won't. Lacio Lacio and Salerm proved to be the worst stuff for my hair. I tried to like it but it's not for me.

I never tried the Kenra but the Humectress is ok. Right now I'm using Humecto and I detangles better than Humectress.

Doesn't the real humectress have mineral oil in it? That's why I bought the suave version, since it doesn't have mineral oil in it which now leaves my hair coated for some reason (before it didn't have any adverse effects on my hair). I didn't think the knock off was all that, I had to spike it w/ EVOO :ohwell:

Yes it does but the way I figured is that since I am rinsing the conditioner off my hair and not applying it on my scalp, I'm good to go.
