I haven't used this in a long, long while but I may go back to it again. I just wish they would sell it in bigger bottles. $2.49 for a bottle the size of my thumb is asking a bit much!
I remember that using it made my hair really soft and very shiny. I think it's supposed to be used when applying heat to your hair, but I used to use it straight.
KemyOyl initially was designed to protect the hair when heat styling, but it has a variety of uses. I am thinking of getting some to mix in with my KemiMoyst conditioner. Has anyone used it this way?
I have the kemi oyl 8 oz. bottle and use it for hot oil treatments or apply it with another moisturizing conditioner for a deep treatment. My hair feels much softer after rinsing and straightening with the blow-dryer and ceramic iron. The kemi oyl is a bit thicker than the WGO and the smell is much nicer imo.
I like using it on my son's hair. It gives his hair a nice shine. I prefer using Jojoba oil or Barry Flecther hair oil for my hair. I was using Keracare oil but my son said it smelled like pee. So I stop using it. Can't have pee pee hair.

I haven't used Kemi in a while, but overall I would rate WGO better in terms of softening and detangling wet hair and for airdrying, but Kemi better for heat styling. Kemi also has a yummy smell, so that's another benefit.
