Keeping it simple is working!

I decided this year to change my hair care regmine and in a matter of one week, I am already starting to see a difference.

I flat ironed on Dec 31, to reveal my hair for the APL challenge after that I put 6 french braids in my hair. Everyday I put s-curl spray on my hair, massage coconut oil on my scalp and sealed my ends with castor oil.

Today I took the braids down, parted in four sections and put Suave Humectant on my hair to detangle. I washed out all the product and then put my Elasta DPR-11, honey, castor & olive oil mix on my hair a deep conditioned for 25 minutes and I can't believe the results.

I loss little hair, and it's so soft and not as dry & dull looking as it was a month ago.

So I said all this to say, keeping it simple does work. Not only am I keeping my regmine simple but also the products I use. I tried to follow other people's regmine, but now I found what works for me and I can't wait to see the results.

Anybody else notice how keeping their regmine and product use simple has benefited their hair.

yes. im starting to get back on track with it now. i dont mess with my hair during the week (except for moisturizing) and i wear a half wig on the weekends. i wash once a week (sometimes i wait a little longer) and rollerset and flat iron the roots. i think im gonna see better growth for 2008 by not doing too much :)

Yeah me too. I wear wigs alot so that's been helping.

I'm natural and I have been getting so discouraged, but today I can see that it can get better.

I had to realize that I don't need to wash it everyday. And I don't like going out side with wet hair( shoot it's cold) and i don't like my hair to moist under my wig.

So now I'm going to get back on my vitamins (keeping that simple too), more water , better diet and I'm gong to try MN for few months and that's it.

I can't wait to see your results in a few months and I'm gonna make sure I post mine.

Stay Savvy!

Man, keeping it simple is the best thing that happened to me...it regrew my kitchen all the way, from a shaved back to NL in a little over a year! That's with 3 trims and a big cute back in November...I love KISS...Keep It Simple Sistah!

I so have to work on this. I keep buying all these products saying that I'm going to keep it simple. I do because I've only put heat on my hair once in two weeks (except for rollersetting).

I've got to do better.

I'm keeping it simple too. I'm down to washing or rinsing no more than twice a week. Moisturize and loosely pinning my hair up at night and I can now (hurray!) fluff it out mostly in the mornings, with just a little touch up here and there. Yep, simple is always better.
