I was looking at you album and I really love your twist out!!!

How EXACTLY did you do it!? It's so cute!!! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Huggette I was in her album too and was floored by how beautiful and well defined her twist out came out. Under one of her pics she mentioned the products she used. I pm'd her too about the look. It is so cute. I will definitely be trying it soon.

yeah i read the caption.

but i need detailed instructions!! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
b/c those look like they took forever!! i'm hoping that's not the case!!

Hey! Thanks!

(1)I took dry hair and added Pantene Smooth and Shine serum. I don't do the little squirts. I have to take the top offen the bottle /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

(2)I put on some generic Humectress.

(3)I spritzed on my lottabody.

(4)I parted my hair back towards my neck and began twisting. I had 4 twists on each side of my head.

The reason why I think it turned out this well is:

(1) I twisted UNDER instead of over.(easier on wrists)
(2) I didn't want to wear rollers to bed, so I bantu knotted the ends(pin curled) and it came out like that.

I bet I can't do it again!

HTH

I am going to try this tonight. I am sitting here with reconstructor on my hair now. So I will take a pic in the morning so you can see how it went.

KD you already know that i am a FAN! When you make it up to N.Y. i want a personal demonstration of a twist out (and french braid)

OK, so I tried the twist out. Day one didn't work as well as I didn't really listen. However day 2 came out much better. It's the Twist Out photo album. Link is in my siggy.

I think so brown, because I used to do them on wet hair, but when I saw that KDymond did it on dry hair I tried it. I like it better because the twists are fuller.

KAddy, girl that came out nice! We'ez onto something girl! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

BrownStallion, I think it comes out better on dry. The 'waves' DO come out looking a little thicker looking than on wet hair.

Thanks ArmyQT!

No Thank you KDymond. I don't think I would have thought to bantu know the ends. And the fact that you use a leave-in and a serum on your hair was a great idea too.

Ha! I got that from Ms_Kenesha. I use that for EVERYthing now(Rollersets[wet], Twistouts[dry] and I'm gonna try it on Pincurls[dry]).

What kind of serum did you use? I have been using Pantene Smooth & Shine, but I've been eyeballing that NTM!

Well I used the Fantasia IC Heat Protectant Serum.

I use my leave-in and serum for my rollersets. Now the twist-outs.

I was gonna ask her how she did her twist-outs too! KOMBOV_DYMOND, your hair looks good like that! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks DSD. Thanks to you, I am LOVING CO's(hooked).

Your growth is coming along great! /images/graemlins/clap.gif Come on BS!
