Huggette I was in her album too and was floored by how beautiful and well defined her twist out came out. Under one of her pics she mentioned the products she used. I pm'd her too about the look. It is so cute. I will definitely be trying it soon.
(1)I took dry hair and added Pantene Smooth and Shine serum. I don't do the little squirts. I have to take the top offen the bottle /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
(2)I put on some generic Humectress.
(3)I spritzed on my lottabody.
(4)I parted my hair back towards my neck and began twisting. I had 4 twists on each side of my head.
The reason why I think it turned out this well is:
(1) I twisted UNDER instead of over.(easier on wrists)
(2) I didn't want to wear rollers to bed, so I bantu knotted the ends(pin curled) and it came out like that.
OK, so I tried the twist out. Day one didn't work as well as I didn't really listen. However day 2 came out much better. It's the Twist Out photo album. Link is in my siggy.
I think so brown, because I used to do them on wet hair, but when I saw that KDymond did it on dry hair I tried it. I like it better because the twists are fuller.
No Thank you KDymond. I don't think I would have thought to bantu know the ends. And the fact that you use a leave-in and a serum on your hair was a great idea too.
