KCCC VS AO Mandarin Magic

They seem to be similar products... natural, aloe based, lightly moisturizing, soft/medium hold.

For those of you who have tried both, how do they compare?

OOOOOOOooooohhhhhh Nice! I wonder if it works as good!

How much is the AO product? It is the $26 that keep me from trying KCCC

It's about 11 dollars for 8 OZ.

Only about 5 dollars cheaper than the KCCC in the 8 OZ size.
:yep:

Neith have you tried either?

I stalk your hair (and fotki)

I tried the AO years ago. I wasn't natural and I didn't take care of my hair as well as I do now though. I wouldn't rely on my own past experiences with the product in this case. I don't even really remember. lol

Thank you for visiting my fotki!! :hug2:

I haven't tried the AO but IMO KCCC has a strong hold. Like Ecostyler gel, it requires a good leave in to prevent crunchy hair. My hair laughs at anything with a soft/medium hold.

Have you tried Taaliah Waajid gels? They smell great and are $7-8 for like 12 oz. Definitely are moisturizing and have a soft/medium hold.

I had no idea it has a strong hold. I knew it could get crunchy, but I thought if you just used a small amount that wouldn't be a problem.

I'll check out those gels too. Thanks!
