I was washing my hair tonight and found that my scalp was really sore. I have not done anything out of the ordinary washing, MTG, vitamins. But my scalp has just been really sore and flaky. Maybe it's the cold weather??? I don't know.
Have any of you ever experinced anything like this? Thanks in advance ya'll.

Do you have a lot of new growth? A few years ago I was using Sulphur 8 and I got a spurt of thick new growth and my head was so tender I could barely comb it. I couldn't figure out what it was. My sister knew that I was using that stanky stuff and and told me that it was probably the thick new growth. I felt the new growth and it was then I noticed how much thicker it was than the rest of my hair. I used some aloe vera gel to kind of soothe it...it helped.

Yeah, I'm thinking the soreness might be the new growth too. I had that happening at the crown of my head for a few weeks, especially when I was using MTG.

i have that problem now in one patch of my head, it's really tender onw and has been for a few days, glad to see it's not just me

The crown of my head gets very sore when I have a lot of new growth. That is one of my signs that I need a touch-up!

Yup, me too! I didnt think it was the new growth because I didnt think I had a lot since this is week 6. But today I realize, yes I have a LOT of new growth (I have been surging) I've just been ignoring it.

Yeah- I am having the smae issue this wekk in the crown area- I got a little scared cause I thought I was allergic to something

Maybe your right. It has been about two months since I have been using those Nioxin vitamins, maybe they are starting to kick in. I think I will go to Wal-Mart and get some aloe vera gel today. Thanks.

Have you been using any new products? New vitamins?

I've been having the same issues too! My crown area is tender and itchy to the touch! I have a ton of NG and I used MTG a couple of days ago. Does any one knows any thing that helps with the tenderness? I've tried oiling and massaging my scalp but nothing...

i was coming in to say that now the whole middle section of my head is sore and tender to touch (no co wash this morning) and I saw your question, I've been drinking the Ultra Hair Thick Shake since January and MTGing since November with no great growth, but it may actually be working now.
