I found the cutest hair salon today while taking a walk.
It's called "Just Because" 141 Carlton Ave, at the corner of Myrtle Ave. It's been open for 5 years but I never noticed it since I do not usually walk down or drive down that street, near Walt Whitman Houses and R.V. Ingersoll houses.
I did not have any services done, but was told that a roller set and blow out would be $55. It was such an inviting salon, lots of green, cream and brown colors. It was also spotless and the plus was the makeup, jewelry and candle selection at the front of the shop. It was a pleasant experience just going in to Just Because to take a look around (unlike the no so nice experience at the new Dominican salon down the block).
If anyone has been to this salon, please report on the services. I asked if they do natural hair (not dreadlocks) and they do.
