During these winter months are any of you ladies using a humidifier in your home to replace moisture in your hair?

No - I just give my hair monthly steam treatments - or every other week, if I feel like it.

I don't use one. I can go a few days without moisturizing my hair if i'm not spending a lot of time outside.

I want to get built-in home humidity control in my next home, and a water softener.

No, but I am deep conditioning more and doing more conditioner rinses. My hair does seem to be more on the dry side lately.

I ask, because I purchased a humidifier at my doctors suggestion to handle my nasal congestion troubles....I am pleasantly surprised to see the wonderful effect the increased moisture is having on my hair.
