My hair soaks up oils. I use coconut, jojoba, olive and carrot oils mixed and by lunch time. Myhair is as dry as it can be. Is there anything I can do to stop that?

Do you apply oils on wet, damp or dry hair?
Do you apply a moisturizer before using oils on your hair?

You could try moisturizing your hair first and then applying an oil (to seal it in).

Elasta QP Recovery Oil Moisturizer and S-Curl are good moisturizers I have used on my hair. There's several other good moisturizers that other members use on this board. Do a search "in titles only" for moisturizers in this hair tips board. hth! ;)

Why don't you use Humectress and Botanic oil together and use it as a leave in? Give it a try Nexxus lover *wink*.

I agree with poohbear. You should apply a moisturizer before you oil it up. I use ElastaQp Mango Butter and mix it with my oils. Or sometimes I apply it just to my ends and then add the oils.

I wet my hair everyday and some days twice, which stops the dryness.
