June 2014..What Did YOU Buy This Week?(Hair Care Edition)

You are my product twin!! I swear!!! Although I haven't used giovanni direct leave in, in a loooong time (you know what, let me revisit this soon!). Moisture Maniac and me went HARD circa 2012! You got the good stuff girrrrl!!!! lulu97

TeeBee And they all have major slip for DAYS! I used 2 leave in's (It's a 10 & SM restorative conditioner) when I did my flexi rod set and it lasted 8 days and I didn't have to moisturize....coulda went longer but I was tired of wearing my hair out. I only used a small amount of argan oil each day to refresh the ends. So I was thinking it may be a good idea to incorporate that Giovanni direct leave in with my It's a 10 when I do my flexi sets. That TIGI MM smells so divine...I keep opening the top to smell it. It's going down on Friday when I wash again. lol

It better grow some hair for me at that price :nono:. I better see a foot of hair in two months. You know you can make that at home :yep:.

lulu97 and TeeBee

I am just learning what Tigi Moisture Maniac is about. I am just getting to know that it is the truth !

In other news :wallbash:,

I am in this thread yet again. Here is the damage, and thankfully it isn't much:

Parachute coconut oil 16 oz. I am going to get rid of the quart of coconut oil I already have because I can't stand it :nono:.

In addition to this I purchased the Hot Tools Black Pearl Tapered Ceramic Iron 1 1/4 inch.

Naptural85's curls got me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cAvlsNU7Ck, and most importantly how easily and quickly she got them.

All in all I only bought two items, too bad I am seriously considering getting a third item. Namely, that Aveda Smooth Infusion styling cream that just came out :ohwell:.

How do you plan to use this? Are you relaxed? Natural? I've been eyeing it a while trying to debate purchasing it.

I'm still trying to figure how im going to use it,tbh. I bought it a couple years ago and used it a few times during roller sets when my hair was relaxed. I ended up giving it away. My hair is natural now, I may use it under my LI and steam. I really don't know though. I'll post how and when I use it and any results I get.

^^I'm not sure. I had said mid-August, but we'll see. I have a 2-week old right now, so I'm a little preoccupied. :D

Looking to purchase a new "on ground" gel. I need Recs.

I currently have the Eco Styler Pink and the Argan, Extreme Gel, Afroveda Pur Whipped (HOLY GRAIL).

I want to try the brown Eco Styler or the Clear Fantasia IC Gel. What do you guys think?

A friend of mine turned me into the Clear Fantasia Gel, it works okay. I have to be very careful about what I layer it with or I get those annoying white balls that look like lint. Other than that it's pretty decent.

Well i didn't actually bu these, they were gifts...that counts right?

I got the original tangle teezer and the as I am coconut cowash.

I tried the tangle teezer a while ago on my tangly blown out hair and I think I've found my denman replacement :yay: I had SOO much less breakage but the down side is, holy heck, I had A LOT of shedding, more than I'm used to anyway. I should probably get back on the garlic pill that @AStylistRecommends recommended for me. I appreciated that it was just as thorough as my denman but I didn't feel like I was ruining my hair.

I've previously tried the cowash (before I blew out my hair for corn rows) and it made my hair blow out so much easier. I know it was the cowash because the last time I blew my hair out which was the week before all i used was shampoo and I literally wanted to cry ( I wasn't the one doing the blow out or braids btw, friend of a friend).

I'm excited to see how the teezer works on wet hair and dry curly hair. Crossing my fingers!

btw has anyone placed an order on the CWK straight plates? I don't think you can order them anymore and I procrastinated on getting mine but I'm eagerly awaiting pics ad tuts from the ladies on the forum!
