June 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 What Are Your Weekend Hair Plans?

Ooh! I’m traveling this weekend but need to prep my hair for a trim next Friday.

On Tuesday I will:
Olaplex steps 0 and 3
Shampoo twice with carols daughter wash day delight
Condition with briogeo curl charisma conditioner
Style with uncle funky’s curly magic and ecoslay Jell-O shot

Finally washing my hair for the first time in...weeks. :look:
On the menu today is:
  1. Pre-poo with my ayurvedic oil blend (coconut oil infused with neem, amla, brahmi, shikakai)
  2. Shampoo with Viori Hidden Waterfall Shampoo Bar
  3. Deep condition with my custom blend:
    • Miracle RepaiRx Deep Hydrating Hair Mask
    • Sunny Isle Jamaican Castor Oil Intensive Repair Masque (I don't really care for this, but I'm trying to use it up)
    • Dabur Amla Oil
    • Vatika Oil
    • Castor Oil
    • Ayurvedic herbs (Amla, Hibiscus, Fenugreek, and a little marshmallow powder)
  4. Apply leave ins - Qhemet Biologics Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee and CHI Keratin Leave-in Conditioner
  5. Seal everything in with Qhemet Amla and Olive Heavy Cream and Castor Oil.

I'm trying to decide how I want to style my hair.
Part of me wants to put in some box braids and part of me wants to do a twist out.

Either way, I'll be putting together a batch of hibiscus-flax seed gel and using that to style my hair.

Pre-poo: Vatiaka Frosting
Shampoo: Olaplex No 4 (finishing the bottle) Joico Moisture Shampoo
R/O Conditioner: Shea Moisture Superfoods
DC: Soultanicals Chebe Ginger DC under heat for 30 mins.
Leave-ins: Aphogee ProVitamin and Annabelles Leave-in
Styler: Tailored Beauty Foam
Style: Perm rod set
Dryer: Pibbs 50 mins

Took my twists down with Coconut oil. Then let it stay in my hair while I worked out.
Washed with Curlsmith Curl Quenching Conditioning Wash.
Condition: TGIN Miracle RepaiRx Curl Protein Reconstructor.
Condition: Curlsmith Double Cream Deep Quencher
Large Twists:
- TGIN Miracle RepaiRx Leave in
- Curlsmith Oil-in-Cream

My hair is soft and happy.

I was thinking about converting these twists to faux locs. The twists are really beautiful and natural looking but I can’t stop my hair from peeking out. The natural part blends in beautifully, but my relaxed ends wanna say hi to everyone despite me constantly twisting and adding gel to blend the ends. Plus my edges act like I haven’t been tying them down at night. At least this way my hair will blend better with the style :look::lol:

Following a very simple routine lately with cornrows. My hair has been in cornrows for 2 or 3 weeks now. This weekend I will detangle, moisturize, and re-braid each cornrow to maintain the parts that are already there and call it a day.
