I'm bored of the twists now. I wish I had the patience to do faux locks. The problem is I cannot deal with fake hair, makes me itch something awful! Will probably take down the twists, wash and deep condition my hair, cornrow and wear a wig for a while.

So this didn't happen. I did a hot oil treatment, wash, conditioned, and retwisted any loose twists. Trying to decide on an hairstyle now to keep my hands out of my head because I am in a weird mood and this usually results in me doing something dumb and taking it out on my hair.

Friday
Hot oil treatment: with a mixture of oils - coconut oil, hemp seed oil, rice bran oil, grape seed oil, and oilive oil
Shampoo: Briogeo Curl Chrisima shampoo 2x
Conditioner: Briogeo Curl Chrisima conditioner
Moisturize: Camille Rose Curl Love Hair Milk
Seal: shea butter

Trying out a new Deep Conditioner today!

Pre-poo: Naturelle Grow's Marshmallow Root Slippery Elm DC with added fenugreek powder (under heat cap for 10 minutes)
Shampoo: Wal-greens T-sal Shampoo (used scalp brush and washed in sections)
Deep Conditioner: Camille Rose Naturals Coconut Water Penetrating Hair Treatment (under heat cap for 20 minutes)

I think I like the Naturelle Grow's DC as a prepoo more than my DC, especially with the added fenugreek. It was nice and slippery and kept my hair fair from being stripped after using the T-sal shampoo (which is surprisingly mild for a medicated shampoo but can still strip my hair if I'm not careful). I love the Camille Rose Natural DC's light coconut scent. It's very rich but not thick and went on my hair pretty easily. Once I rinsed it out my hair definitely felt nice and more moisturized than when I use my naturelle grow as a DC. Definitely will have to repeat this wash routine a few more times before I make a final judgement.

Scalp Oil: Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil with Rosemary
Detangler/Leave-in: Kinky Curly Knot Today (with a wide tooth comb)
Sealant/Styler: Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil Pure Butter with Lavender

I was originally going to do a wash and go today, but decided to stick to twists. I just can't get over the Sunny Isle JBCO Pure butter and all that it can do in my hair. It gives me really nice definition (not as good as my Kinky Curly Curling Custard for a wash and go, but that's to be expected), but it holds the moisture in my hair for far longer than the KCCC which helps to decrease the amount of manipulation I do to my hair throughout the week.
