Joico

I purchased the Joico Body Luxe Conditioner (33 oz professional size) at Ross for 2.99! It didn't have a price tag so they just rang it up for the price of another item on sale. For all my ladies in Los Angeles, this was the Ross on National and Sepulveda.

Then...I happened to be at TJ Maxx in Culver City (near Anna's Linens) and they had A TON of Joico products on sale. I picked up another professional size of Moisture Recovery conditoner (for 14.99) and the Daily Care shampoo for 7.99.

Make sure to check your local Ross, TJ Maxx and Marshalls!

I picked up Joico Color Endure conditioner at TJ Maxx today..It describes it itself as a reconstructor with keratin proteins and amino acids in it so I"m hoping I can use it as my mild protein product for the long term. The 1 liter size was $16 so I couldn't pass it up. I'm also curious about Moisture Recovery.. I'll have to hit up Marshalls, I remember seeing it in there recently. *sigh* I need to stay away from the hair section in those stores, the CHI products have been calling my name too.

This reminds me to run to Marshall's to see if I can find my stuff.

Bumping...

I use the Moisture Recovery to cowash and just picked up the "KPAK reconstruct conditoner to repair damage"

Can anyone please confirm whether this is a true protein product? I need a protein to balance out the moisture in the moisture recovery.

Also can anyone confirm if the moisure recovery (NOT the Balm- the one I use in a 1 liter blue bottle) or the KPAK I described above cam act at DC's as well?

The Moisture Recovery Balm is THEBOMB.COM!! This is my staple and only DC. I can get my Detangling comb thru my 12 week new growth like a hot knife thru butter. I'm never turning back.

I also use the K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor. I alternate this and the Aphogee two step. Joico is is awesome!

Love joico!! In my opinion kpak is milder than aphogee two step. It's a medium reconstructor. I alternate between the moisture and kpak line with no moisture or protein issues. The intense hydrator and smoothing balm of the kpak line are great. The moisture recovery balm of the moisture line is heavenly... It has chlorella in it, which sold me!!!

I purchased Kpak and Moisture Recovery at Marshall's for $10 a piece. I stocked up on it for that price and bought a couple bottles of each.

I have fine hair and find that their reconstructor causes breakage for me. But I will say that I like their liquid reconstructor for fine/damaged hair.

I love their intense hydrator and moisture recovery treatment balm.

Usually around January and June Ulta have discounted liter sizes so maybe you can try one of those.

I used the balm yesterday and let me tell you, I would buy stock in this company just for the shear joy I had in detangling this 18 weeks worth of new growth! Perfection! And I didn't have to sit under the dryer for an hour, get back in the shower and all that drama. I prepooed with EVCO and argon oil, rinsed, cowashed with moisture recovery (blue bottle), combed easily to detangle and loose the shed hair, rinsed, dc'ed with the balm, took care of my body, combed again, rinsed. 15 minutes in the shower and never had one detangling issue. My hair was super soft and felt hella healthy! This is it...no more experimenting. I found my staple dc! Still wondering about the chelating/clarifier though. I also tried the LOC method for the first time. Perfection again! Last week I was almost in tears trying to detangle. Not any more...Just thought I would pop in with some good news on the product.
