JOICO MOISTURE RECOVERY CONDITIONER USERS... QUESTION

How long do you leave the conditioner on your hair? The bottle says 1 min...
If you use the balm, how long do you leave it on also? I know the bottle says 5 min.
is it harmful to leave it on longer, I know it has keratin in it?

i leave it in anywhere from 15 if im in a rush to 2 hrs for the con

Okay, I have 2 wash days per week, one where I deep condition w/heat for 15-20 min and the other, I leave conditioner on in the shower for 5-10 min then rinse. I typically use the MR Treatment lotion (I used to use the balm, but it's a bit too thick for my hair) as a deep conditioner, and the regular conditioner as an instant one on the other wash day. And even though all the Joico products have keratin in them, they are in relatively small amounts that the hair can handle. That's why they do it. I don't even need heavy duty protein treatments any more b/c my hair is always getting some protein to keep the hair balanced. The k-pak line has the most concentration of protein (specifically the deep-penetrating reconstructor). My hair needs a constant balance of moisture and protein so this line is perfect for me.
