Sunny On a Cloudy Day
I have a tube of this stuff; never opened. Should I try it or toss it/give it away?

I am looking for feedback ladies.

I am relaxed, thin/fine hair that loves moisturizing conditioners. I normally use Nexxus Humectress, ORS Replenishing Pak or Silicon Mix.

Personally, I would not throw it away because it has good ingredients. The first time I used this conditioner I saw a difference in my hair. If it doesn't become your staple you can always use it for backup.

Thanks PinkPebbles. I am going to do my hair this weekend and want to try it perhaps. I have a little breakage going on and I need a good hydrator.

Thanks for your input Meaganita!
Really? I did see lanolin, but I recall my stylist telling me that lanolin was a good thing... Why is lanolin bad?
I've read that it has a heavy molecular weight which can clog the pores, cause build up, keep the hair from retaining length/growth.

I see it is the 6th ingredient too. Thanks!
No problem.:) It's not as bad for other hair textures. But since black hair is especially porous, we have to be particularly careful with ingredients that clog pores, weigh the hair down, and lock out moisture. I'm assuming the ladies that use products containing lanolin probably clarify regularly too.

I do too. I have used it as a deep con w/heat and it always gives me good moisture.

Thanks for the review Adrian!
So far I am leaning towards trying this when I wash and condition my hair tomorrow...,I guess I don't have anything to lose!

Anyone else?

I've used it. I liked it. It did a great job with hydrating my hair. I didn't repurchase because it was relatively expensive - and I can get well-moisturized hair from using other, less expensive products.

The Joico K-Pak Moisture Intense Hydrator is highly rated in the industry as a moisturizing conditioner.

I use it on my human hair weave in fact extensions plus of Calif. recommends it on their hair, but I don't use on my own hair. Why Not? I don't remember. It's just really :grin:good on my weave.

Thank you for taking the time to give a review Sunshinebeautiful!
Happy to hear that you liked it. :yep: Maybe I will keep it suggested by Pinkpebbles.

More feeback anyone?...

Thanks for responding nubianqt!
I do have the reconstrutor, but I jusr want to do a moisturizing condish. Would it be good to use on it's own?

It worked for me, but I've only done that once. I use the whole line and my hair stays really soft, so I don't think I need it on its own.

I've used this and I really like it! It gave me good slip and my hair felt moisturized after using it. It's just fairly expensive, so I use it sparingly.

I've not used it yet, as I am addicted to the Paul Mitchell Super-charged, but everything else I use is Joico, so I don't see it being a risky product to use. My hair loves everything Joico :lick:

bump...

I wonder whats the difference between this one and the revitaluxe? They both have protein and they are both moisturizing and from the K-pak Line.

The Revitaluxe is a stronger version of the DPR. The intense is similar to the Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm.

I just bought a couple of these as they were half price, so I happy to see that it gets good reviews.
