Has anyone used this product before, and did you like it?

"Ultra light balm and Vitamin E and soothing Aloe calms and moisturizes without greasy guild-up. Ideal for smoothing and blending re-growth."

Thank you ladies, I know you'll be helpful, as usual!

I used it on my daughter's hair - she's a THICK 4A/B - she had about 6 to 8 weeks of new growth... I can't say that it made a huge differnce. I didn't use any heat though, I washed conditioned and roller set/hood dry. Her hair came out nice...but her new growth was soft but evident. (it could be that her hair is SOOooo thick) I'm going to try it again the next time I blow dry her hair.

Thanks zuppy. I was really looking for a daily moisturizer the last time I was at Target, and came across this. After reading again when I got home, I see that it is more for straightening the hair and has heat protectant in it -- how could I have missed this point. So, I may hold on to it and try it the next time I flat iron my hair -- when the weather cools.

Could you keep me posted on any results that you achieve in the future? Thanks again!

I HATE this product on dry hair, but LOVE it on wet hair!!! I bought this earlier this year and used it a couple of times and it did absolutely nothing on my hair dry. It sat in my closet for several months. Then I got the idea after reading a couple of threads about Elasta QP Mango Butter working better on wet hair and tried it on wet hair...that was it!! I love wetting my nape area and applying the John Frieda...it keeps it soft and moist for a while!

Interesting! Keez and Prettybrowneyes did you ever try using it on wet hair?; just curious if that would have made a difference like it did Jen. Jen, thanks for the tip....I plan on using it on wet hair, air-drying, and then flat ironing but I won't do this until it's a bit cooler and less humid. It's really frustrating to get a straight style and then have to put it into a bun just hours later!

Take Care!

Hmm like the others I bought this a couple months ago and it has been catching dust since it was not that great on dry hair. Try it wet!

It's too late now. I tossed it.

Thanks for that tip Jen Jen. I agree with the other ladies, that it did nothing for me on dry hair. Seems that they want you to use heat with it to get the best results, but I haven't done that.

I used it on wet and dry hair and it does help to disguise the new growth better when used with heat, however I think that coconut oil on my new growth gives me better results.

I used it with heat and I didn't like it. I prefer to use the serum and Straight Forward Blow Dry lotion to help with my new growth instead. Works like a charm!

I've never used it with heat either. It does contain Phytantriol though, but I just don't trust it with heat. It's not thick enough, IMO. It does a good job at holding down edges though at about 7 weeks post relaxer. I spritz my edges lightly with water and use a little and my edges stay smooth and unfrizzy. I tried it this way this morning and

I bought almost the whole collection and in london its very expensive. I ended up giving the whole range away, I think there is more hype about these products than their worth
