John Frieda Frizz Ease vs. Relax

I hope I'm not the last person to notice this but, has anyone else noticed that Frizz Ease and Relax products are practically identical, but the Relax products cost at least $1 more?
I was looking in my product graveyard and saw some Relax Straight Forward Straightening Creme and the ingredients (except for one or two items) is the same as Frizz Ease Wind Down Cream. The WDC was $5.76. The Relax product was $6.99!! /images/graemlins/confused.gif
A 'net search shows practically the same products in each line, but the Relax stuff costs more...
This is not good. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

I noticed this too. I think I posted this over at a yahoo hair club a couple of months ago. I'd just check for sales. Whichever one is cheaper at the moment would be what I'd buy. This is why I recently bought the Relax line's version of Frizz Ease Secret Weapon (can't think of the name). It was on sale and cheaper. I think it's a crime what they're doing though. I wonder why. Usually products in the black hair care section are cheaper.

thanx for that info. in the recent post "what products are u dying to try?" i posted a couple of the relax products. now, i'll be waiting to find them on sale first.

I think I've come to the conclusion that I don't really care for Frieda's products. I still have some frizz ease, texture correcting serum, that shine spray (that has alcohol in it, so I'm not going to use it) and I just don't think they're that great.

I noticed this too. The Extra strength version for coarse hair is also more expensive. However, I do agree that his products are not as great advertised.
