...to whoever was the first person to speak on this product. I purchased mine yesterday @ Sally's (on sale for $34.99 w/dial) and am so pleased with the results. I washed and set my hair, than I applied Isoplus Thermal Styler (i think that's what it's called) and flat ironed my hair section by section. Once same was complete I was just a'shaking and a'shaking my hair in the mirror lip syncing while doing the beyonce booty dance..

. I than applied some gloss and sheen and i must say, i looked like i just stepped out of a salon that's how nice my hair looked. Mind you, i have a few inches of new growth (unfortunately, i don't know how to work the iron to the point whereas you wouldn't be able to tell) but all in all, being a first timer, i did one hellovajob! Again ladies, many thanks.

If you look closely, you will see a little gold button on the inside, that is the dial which goes from heat setting 1 - 25. Also, inside is the on/off button.

That's y i bought it Allandra

. I remembered that i made a post about it and you were the first to answer. You also told me to put a heat protectant on my hair before i used the product and to make sure my hair was clean and completely dry. I couldn't, for the life of me, remember the name of the heat protector you used so i was calling up my friends so they could get on-line and ask you

, but those hocakes already left work.

The name of the heat protectant that I use is New Image Damage Free Thermal Active Conditioning Styler. HTH.

I think I remember you posting another thread about another new image product. Where can they be purchased?

:D:D Glad you liked it.

CH, glad u had a good experience w/ the iron. I have the large one but I wanted to get the one u have to reach the new growth....were u not able to do this w/ your iron?

I've been looking at irons. So I'm glad to hear your positive review of this one. I can't wait to go get mine the next time I straighten my hair.

I have this one also and I like it much better than the larger Jilbere. Finally, NO SNAGS! I didn't have any problems straightening my roots except in the back because it's difficult to maneuver my hands and arms back there.

I haven't pressed my hair in almost a month - trying to stay away from the heat for a while. But I'm looking forward to changing up my style again by flatironing in a couple of weeks.

I bought that same iron last weekend but I haven't tried it out yet.

I bought and tried the iron, but I took it back because the results didn't have me jumping for joy. For me, I thought the results were comparable to my old nonceramic flat iron. I also bought the Conair ionic shine blowdryer, and I loved it. My hair came out smoother and somewhat straighter. After blowdrying, I should've stopped and skipped the flat iron. Oh well! Just my opinion.

Hi Luna,
i have absolutely NO SKILLS WHATSOEVER using this flat iron that is why i didn't really attempt to hit my new growth. As I get better at it, I will definately try and post my results, of course

I'm sorry Allandra. Did you mean the flat iron or the heat protectant was being discontinued?
