Jason Henna Hi-Lights Conditioner

Resident Jason aficionado reporting for duty! :armyhat:

So I decided to combine my curiosity about the henna craze and my love for all things Jason and tried out the Jason Henna Hi-Lights conditioner. It has been around for a while but the old formula had parabens so I had opted to try other varieties. But the newer formula is paraben-free so now it's on!

I've only used it twice so far--once for a con wash yesterday, and once as a pre-shampoo today. I'm really liking it so far :yep: It has a lot of slip and leaves your hair soft and smelling good. And it has definitely left me with a reddish-burgundy halo! :) The light kinda has to be shining through/across my hair to really see it, but it's definitely there. I'm mainly interested in the conditioning, but I've never dyed or highlighted my hair before so the extra hair glow is exciting

You can go to my journal entry to see the before and after pics. You can also watch the first of my "Henna Elasticity" test videos. I'm going to keep track of any strengthening results from using the henna conditioner and decided to use little videos to help. It's actually kind of hard to say if there was any effect yet because the elasticity level in my hair is still fairly normal right now. But perhaps with continued use I'll see some change and will be glad I made the first video for reference :)

I felt like such a dork filming myself pulling on a piece of my shed hair lol.

The color is BEAUTIFUL!!!! It is a lovely highlighting of your natural color (comparing pic 1 to pic 2) instead of a big red change. Very, very beautiful. I loved the video - very strong hair. Did you have to work to make it break? It seemed so.

Your hair looks lovely with a red hint. I love that you had so much spring. I didn’t test my spring when I henna’d. im gona have to do that next time.

Great job!!

Wow, your hair looks great! I also loved your hair's elasticity in the video that you posted...hmm I might have try this conditioner. Thanks for sharing.

I saw this over the weekend and bought their Natural Biotin formula instead....No PJ NOOOO!!! I want this now...Your hair looks gorgeous!

Thanks, ladies. I bought mine from vitacost: http://www.vitacost.com/Jason-Conditioner-Henna-Hi-Lights. They usually have the cheapest prices online ($3.99), and they have flat rate shipping so you can stock up

As far as strengthening, I had to do a little "work" to snap it, but it was about the same as it normally is when I'm on top of my moisture/protein balance. The strongest/most elastic my hair ever was was when I was using the Lavender formula--that's the one that's actually marketed as being for strengthening. I was using it almost daily for over a week before I really noticed how much stronger my hair was. So probably with the henna conditioner I'll need to use it for a while before I can make any judgement about that.

Lovely!!!

This, I am willing to try. I just can't see myself doing all the other Henna rituals.

Thanks for the link. Their prices on Jason's products are AMAZING!!!

I like what this did to your hair! And it seems much easier to use than mixing all that henna up etc.
This was really insightful!
Your hair looks good!
