~~*January 2008-What Did You Buy This Week?*~~

I finally found some Lacio Lacio in Brooklyn this weekend... I was so excited, it was the last bottle. I also had to re-up on my S-curl No Drip. Got some Tea Tree and Jojoba oils, That's about it.

I can't wait to see what this Lacio Lacio is about...everyone says it leaves ur hair feeling nice. :rolleyes:
 
1.i bought some aphoogee 2 minute reconstructure-loving it:grin: i just bought the small packet to try but now i'm going back for more,
2. ntm silk touch leave in -used to use olive oil hair lotion but i think i need something lighter
3.ntm healing serum-used to use kemi oyl but it was too greasy
4. ordered chi silk infusion habent gotten it yet

This is so OT but I had to say hey when I saw that you're from the rochester, buffalo area. I'm from rochester. :grin:
 
I bought some Aubrey Organics conditioners--Honeysuckle Rose and GPB. I used to use these when I first BC'd and my hair loved them. Being the semi-PJ that I am, I went looking for things my hair would love even more...I found a few good things, but I decided to go back to basics. Plus, they're relatively inexpensive, compared to the Aveda products I love.
 
I broke on down and bought the coveted Pantene Relaxed & Natural Mask...good stuff :yep:

I also picked up some more Cream of Nature (for my daughters)

I bought come really nice Via control clips from Beauty First. I am tired of the cheap ones that break when they drop on the tile in the bath room. :wallbash:
 
I bought some salerm 21(B5) and the regular one, keracare 5 in 1 reconstructor and keracare humecto in the 5lb tub. I'm good and set for products for a loooong while...oooh except for my Aubrey Organics honeysuckle rose shampoo and conditioner, my AO GBP conditioner and the AO white camelia conditioner I think's it's called only because these are sulfate, cone and paraben free:grin::grin: .
 
All I've purchased so far is a thing of AfroDetangler (and I'm impatiently waiting for it to hit my doorstep - I hope it gets here in time for me to experiment this weekend) - but I need to go out and get some bobbypins, as mine seem to be vanishing - *looks around for the bobbypin thief*

I repurchased alopecial apretendora DCner, some Hollywodd Beauty Olive Oil Hair Cream since they didn't have the Carrot cream which i normally use and I also bought some blk double headband thingies with silver specks in them. Can't wait to wear them :grin:.

Last night I ordered a Sprite shower filter and Rainshow'r bath ball bathwater dechlorinator. I actually did it for my hair, but I did some research and found out how much chlorinated water your body absorbs from baths and showers and my focus shifted -- especially when I remembered that I saw a list of carcinogenics about three months ago and tap water had been added to it. The focus on my hair these past three years and doing more natural things for my hair has thankfully trickled down to me wanting to do really healthy, natural things for my body although it should have probably been the other way around.
