Hey Guys!

Just got the new American Elle, starting on page 158 they have an article that features 2 full page picks that show her hair in all it's healthy gorgeous glory.
 
Isn't her hair just gorgeous? I wonder what her regimen is!
 
I'm not hating or anything (I like JPS!), but is that her real hair? It's so rare for black women in Hollywood to wear their "own" hair these days. Seems everyone is wearing lacefronts or weaves. Just curious.
 
In the magazine her hair is down to her shoulders. She talks about her fashion rather than her hair. I think like every women she adds pieces to give her hair a different look. But I think she is at least shoulder length.
 
Real or not I'm just glad it don't look busted. Make these white people wonder if it's extensions or real, they all assume we are wearing weaves and if she is.... it is fierce.
 
I saw her back in October. Her hair is real. It is so full and pretty. I wanted to touch it, she keep touching it. If its not her hair that's one dam good weave job!

I don't believe it's ALL her hair.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I like having to question it, unlike so many stars who make it so obvious that the hair they're sportin' ain't their own.
 
Ya'll gotta remember now back when she was on "A Different World" back in the day. The girl was rockin a plain as day 3b/3c ponytail. The gal has naturally pretty hair. I believe even if it wasn't ALL hers, she is definitely capable of the "pretty long hair swing"
 
Her hair has always been so full and beautiful! The only reason I would question if it's all her's is because the thickness and length of the hair seems to change drastically from time to time. I saw some pictures of her before and it was extremely full and long! Then I saw her on Oprah that one time and it was a lot thinner and shorter. Either way, she has some lovely tresses!
 
:lachen: I guess now we can understand why some LHCF member's coworkers and family don't believe that the ladies here have SL, APL, BSL, WL hair. The women of LHCF 'know' that blk women can have hair that length but there are still questions (real or fake hair) in regard to our black celebrity women. Too funny.
 
I think that is her hair...We know better than anyone that black women can have long lush hair!!

Jada is a spokeswoman for Carol's Daughter hair products too ;)
 
And.......I saw her on TARA, she claims CAROL'S DAUGHTER as her hair care line, even has her featured on the site. Either way, she and her hair are looking great...just lose that robot grimace and posture and she'll be fine.
 
It is not that black women can't have long hair, because everyone knows that we can. I am from Africa and when I was in my country most women had long hair, it was only when I came to Europe that I became aware of this problem: "black women can't have long hair" some say it is the weather over here and some say it is the water, but anyways we know jada can have long hair, but when you see someone with long hair one week and shorter hair the next week you have to wonder.




in some pictures she has a shoulder lenght, some they reach her boobs and in other it's almost "butt" lenght. When I saw Her on Oprah a couple of monts ago it was straight but shoulder lenght so we have to wonder: "is it real:perplexed ?"
 
whatever it is, I would love to have it. The only issue I have with Jada is that I never saw the in between lengths. I remember when she wore a scarf on her head to some show with Will . . . but I never remember it "growing out."

Will someone please pull out the photo timeline again!
Her hair actually did grow out. If it's not always hers, okay. But it is in the realm of possibilities most of the time.

Come on ladies, if we can grow hair why is it so impossible for Jada? Somebody needs to pull the timeline out on Jada's hair journey.
 
Exactly! I'm sure that all these fluctuations in her hair length took years, not days or weeks. I'm sure that nobody here sees Jada 24/7, so why doubt that her hair could be that long w/o it being fake? :look:

I believe it's Jada hair with the exception of extensions. I have a GF who has hair that is long. She is constanly wearing extensions to make it even longer and thicker below bra strap. She always gets the "is that your hair question" Now when she doesn't wear the extensions, her hair is thinner and almost bra strap.

I believe its her hair. For a timeline, check out http://www.gettyimages.com and do a search on Jada Pinkett from 1996 to now and skim through all the pictures. You will see how her hair went from nearly bald to midback length over several years. And you can tell which pictures are of her real hair and which ones have extensions in them. ;)
 
Shes not that important where we have to start a debate and argue over someone who we dont even know.:ohwell: Not trying to offend anybody--just keeping it real.

Oh, I thought your point was not remembering it growing out (as your quote highlighted). I believe their is a photo timeline for that.

I know it's really not my hair, but it just reminds me of the countless times this happens irl to non-celebs.

I totally agree. I mean, Jada's hair is nice (real or extentions), but I don't know Jada from Eve.:lol:
