I'm talking about going longer than 2-3 months without a trim!
Ladies I wear my hair up 85% of the time (at work its up every day only down if i'm going out), I deep cond twice per week and I air dry. The only time I use heat is when I am going out to a party or something and I blowdry (for about 3 minutes to straighten) with a round my brush my ALREADY ARIDIED HAIR, so thats it MINIMAL heat, hair is up most of the time, regular deep cond but my ends still look raggedy after 10 wks! I'm going for a steam and a trim tonight!
Is it just me or does anyone else get this problem despite a high standard hair care regime?
erplexed I wonder how u ladies who can go months on end without a trim do it, I mean does a girl have to wear her hair in a bun PERMANENTLY night and day to not have split ends? I mean do u go partying in buns too???

, I would be racking my brain trying to figure it all out. I would be sooo confused.
.... so my question is, because I happen to get a small amount of hair cut off due to taking good care of my ends, I should say I got a dusting and not a trim??? Is this what people mean when they say they haven't gotten a "trim" in a year or something???? To me, a dusting is a trim b/c the word trim itself means cuttng off a small amount but it can simply vary. Am I wrong? I am still confusing things?
