My daughters 'organics for kids' range shea butter shampoo!

What's up with that?

Should I toss it or dilute it?

I would dump it or add some additional oils to it to try to counteract the effects of the SLS.

I could be in the minority (I always am

) but SLS has been used as a cleanser in haircare products for years now...

It's something we avoid because we are hyper vigilant about haircare, but truly, it's not really that big a deal. Ammonium Laurel or Laureth Sulfate, I might be concerned about. But SLS is a pretty mild surfectant (sp?).

My little siter has the same shampoo and i just told my mum not to use alot and follow up with moisture straight away.

ITA w/ Tracy (as usual nowadays!)
Sodium Laurel sulfate is fairly harsh but Sodium Laureth sulfate is milder. The Ammonium sulfates are the harshest on hair. I dont think its bad to use, and if u are concerned then maybe alternate with CON or something.

My Nexxus Therappe has Sodium Laureth Sulfate a few down in the list but its very moisturizing.

I too agree with Tracy. I'm sure many of you had healthy hair, before being more aware of the ingredients. I know I have.
