This gel is fab. I've been on the search for a glycerin free gel and found this one in Home Bargains for £2.69 (a cheapie store in the UK). It's also available online for £2.99.
I've tried it on dry hair and on wet hair for my twist-outs and it gives a very soft, smooth firm hold. No flaking. Only need to use a little bit.
