Hello Ladies!

Also or more specifically,

Currently I am having some trouble airdrying: my hair is so dry afterwards? I dont know what to put in it...

Also I am using Hair one( the generic for WEN) as my sulphate free shampoo... but according to the lady at Sally's its a shampoo, conditioner and leave in all in one... so I guess my question is can I use this as my shampoo even though I still want to DC with something else and then use a leave in on top of that and seal withoil... I figure as long as I use some sort of clarifying shampoo eventually I will be alright?

One more thing. I am using this Barner bros Mayonaiise and honey hair streghtner as a Pre-poo but it has mineral oil in it, is that bad? Thinking of switching over to Burts and Bees Avocado and butter? anyone tried that?

sorry for so many questions... I just want to gain some wisdom!

Yes you can use Hair One as your shampoo and deep conditioner with another product. Hair needs a deep conditioner along with a none stripping shampoo. Using a leave in is alway great, it will no harm your hair and oil seals in the moisture.

Using mineral oil is not all bad, actually a lot of ladies have success with products that have mineral oil in them, including myself. A good rule of thumb is to look a the ingredients and the
1st five ingredients is what the product mostly consist of, so as long a mineral oil is not in the first 3-4 ingredients you should be OK. Using a chelating shampoo once a month is great for removing mineral build up and build up in gerneral from the hair.

thanx, i bought a product that contains mineral oil unknowingly, maybe i will try it since i noticed mineral oil is not one of the main ingredients.

Welcome to the board. :) Your regimen seems fine to me. Just one question though, when you DC with protein do you follow up with a moisture DC?

I use NTM Silk Touch as a moisturiser; it is lovely and perfect for my hair. I've also just started using the Burts Bees prepoo, and I'm liking the results so far.
