Hair product junkie reloaded!
I bc'd with lots and lots of new growth....no pics, as I left my camera at my parents' house...hair is soft and fluffy! I got cornrows right afterwards and in two weeks i will get tree braids. Feels good to be free! Btw, if I stretch my new growth, it goes right about to my shoulders.

thanks....as far as how I did it for one year...braids. I would not have been able to handle the two textures without braids. I would get individuals, cornrows, tree braids...I would also wear wigs and scarves in between. I would try to keep my hair moistured while in braids and out of them. After 13 months, I had a LOT more new growth than I thought. my stylist gave me my ends and they were dry and brittle looking...whereas my natural hair was soft and moisturized and she commented on how healthy it looked. Now I am all about growing out my hair with braids since this method tends to work well for me. I am so glad that it's over!
