My last relaxer was December 6. 2007. Its been a fairly easy transition for me. I usually just co-wash and put a leave-in on and slick my hair back in a bun with the help of my IC Fantasia gel (Blue), which is a life saver by the way. Here are some pics of my wet hair after my wash.

I will flat iron my hair today and post pics of that too. Also check out my fotki album to see the beginning of my transitioning journey.

Wow!!! Yor progress is amazing. Will you do a bc by Dec 2009? Do you have any issues with detangling? I haven't had a relaxer since May but I am so tempted do to detangling issues.
 
wow , your hair looks great! thats lot of growth for a year, i've been transitioning for a year too, but it hasnt been easy, it just got easy in the last month due to me sticking with a reggie and product:ohwell:

Yea I am shooting for dec. 2009 or June 2009. I try to detangle in the shower so it wont be so hard after i get out. I find it easier to deal with my hair the day after the wash.
 
Your hair looks absolutely fabulous!! And your ng looks amazing. I love its texture and all the little kinks in it. I especially love that pic on your fotki where you show a little ringlet of your hair! So adorable. I cannot wait until you do the BC and begin to wear it all naturally.
 
Congrats!!! Your hair looks great! I transitioned for a year as well, and I know it can be trying at times. Kudos to you!

I'm only 22 weeks into my transition rgiht now and I can't wait for the one year mark.
 
Just wanted to stop by and say such a wonderful job you've done, and thanks for the heads up on the blue ic. I am also transitioning since Sept this yr. I know it's a long journey but so many ladies here have been such an inspiration to me now to include you and your persistance.

I am determined more than ever now that I found out about Miss Jessie's curl cream and her other wonderful products.
