Hello ladies, it's been a long time since I have posted here. And unfortunately my hair has suffered in the process. Last year, I used more heat in a two months time then I would use in a whole year-sometimes flat ironing everyday. That damaged my hair alot. Then I got into wearing weaves and lace fronts because I got lazy and didn't want to be bothered with my hair. I think the weave damaged my hair and now it's thinning. I stopped taking my vitamins and everything as well. As a result of all of this, I had to get rid of at least an inch of dead ends. I'm at a bra strap at least now because of that. I know this is my fault as I should be WL by now at least. But that's water under the bridge now. The point is I'm back and ready to get back in the game. I need to find the products that will help grow and thicken my hair as well as keeping it strong and healthy. I'm not totally lost-I have been bunning and staying away from the heat and the weaves but because I have been out of the game for so long, I'm not sure what products are good to use. I did pick up some Organic Root Stimulator hair vitalizer, the olive oil and carrot oil hairdress. I stayed away from the ones that had petroleum in them. I do remember that much. And I am still doing my co-washes. So please ladies-seasoned ones and noobs-help me out. Refresh my memory and/or enlighten me on some new stuff. Other than the stuff I mentioned I got, I haven't really been going to BSS so I don't really know what's new out there. Thanks in advance.

Moisturizers: QP Elasta Mango Butter and S-Curl
Oils JBCO, Argon Oil, Alma Oil are my favs
Protein[/B Aphogee two step for heavy protein and for a light protein I like Joico K-Pak

Welcome back! These products aren't new, but I'd suggest Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose and GPB conditioners for babying your hair back to health.

Thank you ladies. I will check out these products. Also, I'm wondering if the products I mentioned are good? Also, I ordered some Mega Tek. I read the ingredients and it lists the same ones so we will see. If not, I will just add more of the keratin protein myself if possible. I also plan to jump back on the horse and join the WL 2013 challenge. I hope I can really make it this time.
